A native Oklahoman, Julia Mozingo has been writing for publication since 1986. Many of her writings (essays, articles, poetry, fillers, children's, and romance) have won awards, sold and been published.

Mozingo holds membership in several writing organizations including Romance Writers of America and Oklahoma Writer's Federation, Inc. She has chaired and coordinated the National Reader's Choice Awards and judged numerous local, regional and national contests.

Mozingo holds an Associate of Science degree from Western Oklahoma State College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Cameron University, a Master of Education degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and twenty additional hours, the majority in writing. With nineteen years of experience in practically all grade levels, she currently teaches fourth grade for Altus Public Schools.

Mozingo trained in Creativity Coaching with Dr. Eric Maisel, world renowned creativity expert. She especially enjoys coaching other writers, helping them to realize their dream.
